ARABESQUE was established in 1994 and its main field of activity is trading in construction materials. Throughout these years, the company has gained the trust of its clients through an excellent mix of products and services provided. All our investment efforts are channeled towards constantly improving this mix.
Mission Statement
Through all its actions ARABESQUE has one purpose: to be the most important construction material distributor on the Romanian market. To this effect we make all efforts to have as many products as possible on our offering, the largest amount of stock possible, the smallest amount of time to fulfill orders and, of course, the best in related services.
Strategy
In order to complete its mission statement ARABESQUE focuses in the following directions:
- constantly improving the level of technical training of all personnel categories in the "contact" area, so as to be able to provide the best solutions to our clients requests;
- improving the infrastructure and continuing the process of building own use spaces with large storage areas and improved handling facilities;
- developing and diversifying our logistics so that we can maintain our maximum deadline (24 hours for a 100 km radius) for honoring an order, with the number of clients continuously increasing;
- the constant diversification of our product line to be able to provide our clients with new products on the construction and home improvement market, but also to be able to provide full product ranges;
- establishing the closest of partnership relations with domestic and foreign suppliers able to meet our orders on time and at the specified levels of quality;
- promoting win-win commercial relationships with all our clients to create the premises for long-term relationships.
The total surface area of the spaces in which ARABESQUE carries out its specific activities exceeds 165,000 sqm, and the number of products is of over 25,000.
Our distribution activity is conducted through various specific structures that consist of the most modern information transmission and processing technologies, specialized sales personnel, as well as an adequate vehicle fleet containing the entire range of transportation means: over 700 cars and more than 650 trucks.
For its supplying partners, ARABESQUE maintains traditional relationships both with Romanian companies but also with foreign companies from Austria, Czech Republic, China, Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and Hungary.

Throughout the years, ARABESQUE has created a network of commercial centers, spread out in the largest municipalities, and our products are distributed all throughout Romania: Galaţi (1994), Constanţa (1998), Bucharest (1999), Cluj-Napoca (1999), Piatra Neamţ (1999), Timişoara (1999), Craiova (2000), Braşov (2001), Bacău (2003), Oradea (2004), Ploieşti (2004), Iaşi (2005), the Republic of Moldova, in Chişinău (2005) and Baia Mare (2007).
ARABESQUE has also become an international presence by opening subsidiaries in nearby countries: the Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, the Ukraine and Serbia.
